April 29 Nicolas Makes Improvements

Dear Family & Friends,

As it turns out Nicolas had a form of influenza last week...he is getting better...He still has some congestion, runny nose, and tiny bit of a cough...BUT his color looks great, strength is coming back, and weight is back up!

We just met with the geneticist tonight and we are still waiting for several tests to return...She is still uncertain as to what may be causing the spasms...The Neurologist is also unclear...but they are not seizures...3 EEG's has proved that...

SO we will continue to be patient and enjoy the "no news is good news" policy at this point...

Jake and I want to thank you AGAIN (because we can't thank you enough) but your thoughts and prayers are extremely appreciated...and your willingness to help in any way is amazing! Thank you! We can't wait to able to spend more time with you!

Love,
Felisa

Felisa and Jake,
Chad and I are praying for continual improvement for little Nicolas. Saying that this has been a very challenging time for you all is an extreme understatement. May you feel the Good Lord's arms around you at all times- comforting, guiding, loving you every moment.

Hi Felisa, Jake and Garrett~
Just dropping a little note to say we're thinking of you and you're all in our continued prayers. I have 15 days to go before our second one arrives and I can't help but think of you, with every little movement I feel. Nicolas is a strong little guy and he can get through this. Grandma Charlett and Grandpa Herman wanted to send their love also. Hugs, Laura, Tom and Dylann

To the courageous couple,
I say thanks and I am sending you my love and prayers. This is such a great way to keep all of us informed and who knew you were technologically inclined?? Thanks Kimra!
You all continue to remain in my prayers and thoughts. Your patience, strength and courage seem to be limitless. Thanks be to God for Nicolas and his incredible parents. He is a beautiful baby boy who is on this earth for a reason and you two are his parents for a reason as well.
I hope you can feel God's loving arms wrapped around you! Stay strong and hold on to each other and all of us who love you so much!
Love you all,
Terry

Felisa and family,
I am so sorry little Nicolas is struggling so much during his first few months of life. We hope and pray that the mystery will soon be solved, and his little body will heal so he can be home with the rest of the family. Thoughts and prayers, Becky and Burt Mawhorter
